From January 20–23, 2026, leaders will gather in Hong Kong for the first-ever Heads of Climate Base Camp in Asia-Pacific, a unique forum designed to tackle the most pressing climate challenges for business. Registration closes November 28.

With the support of our member Swire Pacific, this inaugural APAC edition will bring together a carefully selected group of Heads of Climate to address the toughest sustainability challenges facing business today. Through hands-on working groups and masterclasses, participants will gain practical insights and fresh strategies to accelerate their organizations’ climate ambitions. Topics include: climate resilience and adaptation, transition costs and financing, supplier decarbonization, carbon standards and disclosure, all with a particular focus on the APAC context.

Facilitated by WBCSD Climate and Dr. Thomas Bruhn from the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS), the Heads of Climate Base Camp will invite decisive contributions from experts in their field, such as Dr. Alexander Bassen, inaugural chair of the Independent Standards Board (ISB) at the GHG Protocol and Dr. Hoesung Lee, former chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) (speakers to be confirmed). Over four days, participants will leave with practical insights, tested strategies, and clear priorities to accelerate their company’s net-zero transition, anchored in the risks and opportunities of the Asia-Pacific region.
