Together with its global community of 250+ leading businesses, WBCSD is advancing a unified approach to understanding and addressing the societal and systemic drivers of long-term value creation. Through the Taskforce for Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD), WBCSD supports companies in navigating how social factors shape business impacts, dependencies, risks and opportunities. 

In November last year, we hosted a roundtable by which we had the TISFD share key elements of its published Conceptual Foundations discussion paper in October 2025. The Conceptual Foundations establish key concepts, definitions and a shared language for understanding how business and finance interact with people and social-related issues. These foundations will underpin TISFD’s Beta Disclosure Framework (v01), which will be released for public consultation in May. 

The session will provide a space for APAC members to learn about the TISFD’s journey so far, gain insights on the latest work on the Beta Disclosure Framework to share regional perspectives, and provide feedback to help shape its continuous development.
