Join our Scope 2 Office Hours to ask questions and share your views on the latest developments of the Scope 2 Standard. As a pre-read, on 27 August, we will share a written briefing (find it here: Alignment Group for GHG P Technical Working Group – WBCSD Communities) which we invite you to review in preparation for the call. This work is taking place against the backdrop of GHG Protocol’s coordinated undertaking to update its corporate standards across four workstreams: 1) Corporate Standard, 2) Scope 2, 3) Scope 3, and 4) Actions and Market Instruments. The process, led by the GHG Protocol and ISO, will effectively combine their corporate carbon accounting requirements into a single, harmonized global Corporate Standard. The office hours offer an opportunity to have fruitful discussions and gather member input during the development and update process, which is shaping this global standard. In the call, we will go through the topics explored in the briefing and discuss: What feels critical to protect in current practice? What feels unclear, impractical, or risky?
